1. Introduction
This document outlines the terms of service for the GH Card Verification service provided by RapidLink Microfinance Ltd. (referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). Your access to and use of the service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these terms.
2. Data Collection and Usage
- We collect your Ghana Card ID number and a photographic image of you for the sole purpose of verifying your identity as part of our microfinance services.
- The collected data will be used exclusively for identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC - Know Your Customer).
- Your image and ID number will be securely stored and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and our Privacy Policy.
- We will not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent for specific purposes related to your application.
3. Image Capture Guidelines
- The image captured must be a clear, unobstructed photograph of your physical Ghana Card.
- Ensure good lighting, no glare, and that all details on the card are legible.
- The image must be taken in real-time using your device's camera. Uploading pre-existing images is strictly prohibited.
4. Service Limitations and Disclaimers
- This verification service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
- While we strive for accuracy, RapidLink Microfinance Ltd. does not guarantee that the verification will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- The verification result is based on the data provided and the image captured. Any discrepancies or failures due to illegible images or incorrect data are your responsibility.
5. User Responsibilities
- You warrant that the Ghana Card ID number and the image provided belong to you and are authentic.
- You agree not to use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- You are responsible for ensuring your device has a working camera and stable internet connection.
6. Amendments to Terms
RapidLink Microfinance Ltd. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. Your continued use of the service after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Terms and your agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
